RADAR

Jariet brings a new approach to RADAR, by providing software-defined RF-sampling transceiver ICs that deliver the performance, flexibility and bandwidth necessary to build a common small-signal architecture from L-band to Ka-band RADAR.

Performance: Jariet’s high-performance ADCs, DACs and PLL/VCOs deliver the noise spectral density (NSD), phase noise and third-order intermodulation (IMD3) necessary to detect small targets at a great distance and varying relative velocities.

Flexibility: By moving frequency conversion into the DFE (digital front end) up and down-converters, a common small-signal-to-FPGA design is possible.  By simply reconfiguring the Jariet ICs, a different frequency band and bandwidth can be supported in milliseconds.  The multi-channel DFE supports multi-band operation.

Bandwidth: Jariet’s technology is designed to support a wider range of frequencies than any direct RF approach prior, both in RF range and in IBW (instantaneous bandwidth).

Whether the architecture is one converter per antenna, one converter per RADAR, or somewhere in between, Jariet’s ICs deliver everything needed for RF-to-bits in beamforming AESA (active electronically scanned arrays).
